Dr. Horst Wiesinger has been serving the steel industry for more than 60 years with different activities that include developing new technologies, engineering and construction and more recently with consulting services during the past 22 years with the Horst Wiesinger Consulting Group (HWC).

During that time, more than 160 projects in 45 countries have been executed. The time seems right for Dr. Wiesinger to now step back and pave the way for the next generation being the provider for consulting services in the iron- and steel industry.

As part of a long-term continuation strategy, the management team of HWC is therefore handing over all business activities to Mr. Andreas Koller and Gerald Arbogast, who have already held executive management positions in HWC since 2019. They are leading the activities under the new company “SPC Steel Partner Consulting”, which is taking over all employees, experts, rights of references and project documentation.

SPC will represent HWC for all continuing business activities in the area of iron- and steelmaking consulting.

Such steady hand-over will guarantee the consistent expert services for the upcoming years. The entire team of senior experts will continue under SPC and support the clients and their project in usual professional manner.

In order to keep the spirit and vision within of HWC within SPC, Dr. Wiesinger will continue his availability as advisor and mentor to SPC and will support all activities also as representative in the same manner as he did the last 22 years for HWC.
